Jamie Magrill, MSc
Chief Executive Officer
Jamie Magrill completed his MSc in Biomedical Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2021 and an HonBSc from the University of British Columbia in 2018, with a focus on cancer and diabetes research, and is now completing a dual-doctorate MD-PhD at McGill University. With eight years of biomedical research experience, and six years of volunteer leadership in student services, healthcare, adaptive aquatics and STEM teaching and outreach, Jamie comes to the table with a wide variety of experiences and skills that enable him to empower and guide people and projects to achieve their best results; helping the people who help make the world a better place.

Ina Na, BSc
Chief Operating Officer
Ina Na grew up in Greater Vancouver and graduated from the University of British Columbia with a BSc in Biology and a minor in Health and Society. She went on to join the Keeling Lab at the University of British Columbia where she is currently pursuing an accelerated MSc to PhD program. During her undergraduate studies, Ina’s passion for research grew through the roles she took on at the National Microbiology Laboratory, BC Centre for Disease Control, and National Research Council. Having previously worked as a Medical Office Assistant and served on a variety of undergraduate committees, Ina values building relationships and working with collaborators. During her spare time, Ina enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing sports, and exploring new hobbies or projects.

Robert Wosk, BA
Chief Financial Officer
Robert Wosk graduated in 2017 from the University of British Columbia with a BA, majoring in Economics and minoring in Commerce. He has previously worked as a Senior Financial Advisor at Scotiabank and currently works as a Credit Analyst at Scotiabank. Robert brings over 10 years of experience working and advising in the financial industry, as well as a tenure as treasurer of a student-led organization during his university days.

Leon Kalantaro, BEng
Chief Engineer
Leon Kalantaro is a Mechanical Engineering, BEng graduate from the University of Tel Aviv, Israel, and is currently pursuing his MEng while working with DECAP. Leon currently serves as Chief Engineer for DECAP, and brings 8 years of 3D-printing and engineering design experience to the table, including work with a number of previous start-up companies in Israel.

Timlin Mai, BEng
Design Engineer
Tim is a Mechanical Engineering Graduate from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. He has previous experience working in the automotive industry in research and development, and hopes to bring that experience to DECAP. His interests include working on cars, 3D printing, and kayaking.

Anna Frumkin, BSc, BPharm
Pharmacy Consultant & Sales Strategist
Anna Frumkin completed a BPharm from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with several years of experience working in community pharmacies and at Ichilov Hospital as a Hospital Pharmacist. Anna previously completed a BSc at the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança, in Portugal, and also has experience working in healthcare administration. Anna is currently completing an MSc in Physiology at McGill University, focusing on polycystic kidney disease.

Arielle Hochberg, MSc
Grants Officer
Arielle was born in New Zealand, lived most of her life in Australia, and had a passion for science and especially the complexities of the brain from a young age. She completed a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Sydney and completed her MSc at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Biomedical Science, focusing on Neurobiology and Immunology. Arielle brings more than 5 years of laboratory and clinical experience to our team as a coordinator and grants writer on multiple projects.

Alejandro Guerrero, BEng
Mitacs Business Intern
Alejandro Guerrero is an Industrial Engineer from Mexico, currently living in BC, Canada and completing a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma at Douglas College in International Supply Chain Management. Alejandro has a BEng and more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing processes for automotive, aerospace industries, and healthcare institutions in Mexico as well as experience growing his own startups and businesses from concept to profit.

Sharon Low
Undergraduate Research Intern
Sharon Low is a third year Applied Animal Biology student at the University of British Columbia, and hopes to minor in French this coming year. She is passionate in helping animals and giving back to her community. In addition, Sharon was involved in many opportunities that have helped improve her leadership skills for the past few years and has immensely lifted her confidence ever since. You will often find her baking new recipes, watching puppy videos, or working at a pet store called Bosley’s in Richmond.

Alex Ullmann
Undergraduate Marketing Intern
Alex Ullmann is a second year Marketing student at Douglas College with a passion for content creation and design. He hopes to finish his Associate's Diploma in 2023 and push on to a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. He brings years of sales and hospitality experience to the team as a forward thinking and driven individual. In his free time you'll find him training with Muay Thai, taking film photographs, or laughing with friends.
